Organized since 1998, the Paulo Freire Forum Meetings are an international event. It is during these meetings that the World Council of Institutes Paulo Freire meets.

The bell hooks-Paulo Freire Institute (France) has been chosen to organize the XIIth Paulo Freire Forum Meeting which will take place in Paris (France).

Because of the Covid19, the Forum is reported on 2021  : Thursday  September, 16th & Friday September 17th.

The theme chosen by the World Council of Paulo Freire Institutes for 2021 is: "Education, gender and migration".
